My experience with this transitional facility really opened my eyes to what treatment is and how it could be a cornerstone to my sobriety. It not only changed my way of thinking but showed me step by step what it means to live a healthy sober life. Like many others caught up going the treatment route it starts to look bleak, ongoing and never ends. The huge stigma created in treatment facilities is it's all about the money and nothing more than a revolving door for addicts. With that being said I believe the industry has become this way because not enough oversight which has lead to any Joe-Shmo opening up one. Now, in reference to this particular facility my experience and knowledge gained has been way beyond what I thought was possible. I like most had lost hope in the system and didn't think there was any light at the end of the tunnel. Not only did this facility show that they knew where I was coming from but cared about me enough till I started to care about myself. The principles instilled in me with this 12 step based recovery center has given me a whole new perspective on leading a healthy sober life. I would forever be grateful to them and would bet my life that going there and actually doing what they say will eliminate all current census numbers of people actually remaining clean.

My experience has been life changing. I came to treatment beat down and unwilling to see that i needed to change. As the weeks went bye i began to see that i was ready to make my life one of consistency, willingness and motivation. As i get ready to leave and move on from Sea Steps i do this with confidence and reassurance that i have grown and developed into a capable individual. The staff was amazing and they believed in me when i didn't. I know now that i have a family here and i will always be grateful for them and their help. I love my new family and support system!

My experience at recovery forever had been excellent at first it was slightly off-setting the staff were too nice and it made me feel like maybe this was another place that just wanted my money. Soon after I started to notice people went out of their way and did things for clients that had nothing to do with insurance or payments. The groups that they run are recovery specific and the work with my therapist has definitely helped me be able to apply the information to the real world. The only thing I would recommend is to learn more about the biological aspects that occur from extensive use. Besides that my experience overall is amazing.
